Sammy Hagar<\/strong> will perform a residency at Park MGM<\/strong>\u2019s Dolby Live<\/strong> in April and May, he announced on Monday.<\/p>\n

Hagar’s “The Best of All Worlds Tour” will be Vegas residency No. 11 for the former Van Halen <\/strong>frontman. It follows jaunts at the STRAT in 2021, MGM Grand in 2019, Mandalay Bay<\/strong> in 2002, 2008, and 2015, and the House of Blues <\/strong>in 1992, 1994, 1997, 1999, 2002, and 2012.<\/p>\n

The lineup for this outing, which will focus heavily on Hagar\u2019s 10-year Van Halen tenure, will include his fellow former VH bandmate Michael Anthony<\/strong> on bass, Kenny Aronoff <\/strong>replacing Hagar\u2019s longtime drummer, Jason Bonham, <\/strong>and Joe Satriani <\/strong>in the unenviable position of performing Eddie Van Halen<\/strong>\u2019s mind-blowing guitar parts.<\/p>\n

I’m so looking forward to this residency and being able to stay in one place so we can get the sound and production completely dialed in,” Hagar, 77, said in a statement. “It also allows the band to experiment with the setlist every night \u2013 that\u2019s why it\u2019s going to be exclusive to Las Vegas.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The shows will take place April 30 and May 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16 and 17.<\/p>\n

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, November 22, via ticketmaster.com\/SammyHagarVegas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hagar will also play the halftime show at Sunday\u2019s Raiders-Broncos game at Allegiant Stadium<\/strong>, as he did for a Raiders-Bengals game in November 2021.<\/p>\n

New Edition will extend its residency at Wynn\u2019s<\/strong> Encore Theater<\/strong>, the R&B group announced on Monday. \u201cNew Edition: Las Vegas\u201d will return to the venue for six more shows on February 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, and 22.<\/p>\n

\u201cPerforming for our fans in Las Vegas over this past year has been a dream,\u201d the group said in a joint statement. \u201cEncore Theater\u2019s intimate size allows us to feel a personal connection with our audience members and fans night after night, making each performance more special than the next.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The group\u2019s first 15 performances at the Encore, which began last February, were all sellouts.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the new shows go on sale at 10 a.m. PT Friday, November 22 via the Wynn Las Vegas website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Childers\u2019 Play<\/h2>\n
