The GEObet network, a tribal-owned entity, announced recently that it will be hosting a conference aimed directly towards the online gambling sector on February 18th in a bid to advise tribal interests on the online gambling industry and all of the benefits they can enjoy from the sizable market.

The Oklahoma Tribes and GEObet iGaming Conference will consist of question and answer sessions with a host of panels. The key note speech will be delivered by the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Bear Casino, Bernard Shepherd. The Northern Bear Casino is the first real-money North American online tribal casino since its launch in November, meaning a great deal of important and relevant industry information will be shared during the speech.

The conference, which will offer insight and practical advice on building foundations and managing successful iGaming operations, will take place at the Cherokee Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

“This conference offers a tremendous opportunity for tribal casino groups to hear from industry experts as well as share ideas and business strategies when it comes to making the important move into the world of iGaming,” stated Gerry Gionet, founder of the GEObet Network. “We expect a strong turnout from the tribes of Oklahoma and also from the neighbouring states.”

“We are extending this invitation to all tribal and first nations groups across the USA and Canada,” added Gionet.

In addition to the expert panel discussions and question and answer sessions, those attending will also have the chance to hear from a number of influential iGaming speakers including Walter Janvier, Vice-President of North American Business Investment Relations at GEObet, Claude Summer, Ambassador for the GEObet Network, and John Danner, the network’s Advocate.

The discussions and speeches will include such topics as the progression of the iGaming industry and how it relates to the 36 tribes of the Oklahoma region and elsewhere. The legal aspects of free-play and real-money play will also be discussed, as well as techniques to achieve Tribal Nations goals, and the status of the iGaming industry on a global front.

Gionet will also show how, as well as those with land-based casinos, those without can enter into the online gaming world through the GEObet Network without needing major up-front financing or investments.

“Nevada casinos are on the cusp of launching their businesses online so it’s imperative that tribal nations are able to protect their interests and compete on an equal footing by offering customers the opportunity to play in their casinos on the internet,” discussed Gionet.

The GEObet portfolio of casino products will also be demonstrated at the event, including the award-winning casino slots with the highest jackpot payouts in the world, as well as poker, bingo and other gaming products.
