Where to Find the Absolute Best Holiday Decorations in Vegas

If you’re in Las Vegas you’re probably already feeling fairly merry, being on vacation and all that. But if you want to get into the festive spirit even more, all these dazzling lights, outdoor ice skating rinks and decorated trees are sure to do the trick.

1. Town Square

Did you know that Las Vegas has a town square? Okay, it’s basically a shopping center just south of the Welcome to Las Vegas sign, but it still counts. Close enough to the strip to be easily accessible, while still sorta off the strip, this area is filled with shopping and restaurants. It’s also been fully decorated to look like a winter wonderland. There’s snow and Santa and everything. That’s right, even in the desert of Nevada, you can see (fake) snow and get into the holiday spirit.

2. Winter’s Village at Green Valley Ranch

Green Valley Ranch continues to grow in popularity. It’s off the strip, located in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, but it feels like the ultimate oasis and get away. Go with your family to enjoy an ice rink, holiday treats, visits with Santa and more. There are even play and stay hotel packages that include bookings at the fire pit – complete with s’mores!  If that doesn’t make you feel like ’tis the season to be jolly, nothing will.

3. Holiday Magic at The Linq

Whether you’re doing the one and only zip line on the Las Vegas strip, or you’re enjoying the world’s tallest observation wheel called The High Roller, there’s so much to take in at The Linq. It’s feeling particularly festive now that it’s fully decorated in keeping with the Christmas vibe. Plus, there are free live performances throughout the week, including a vibrant and festive holiday show with lights and snow.

Did you know that there’s a chocolate factory with a cactus farm in Las Vegas? It’s absolutely amazing, mainly because you can tour the lit-up garden of cactus Christmas lights while sipping on the best hot chocolate of your life. Take pictures with Santa, or selfies in the holiday snow globe. There are food trucks and of course, the chocolate taste room. That must be where Santa gets the extra padding for his suit.

High above the Las Vegas strip, the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan is transformed into a winter wonderland. Skate across 4,200 square feet of real ice if you like, or just relax and roast s’mores by the fire. There are all your season favorite foods and drinks, like Egg Nog cocktails. Glittering lights make it feel almost magical here, especially when Santa and the Grinch come to visit.
