The shooter must then continue to roll the dice until they roll that same exact point or a seven. If they roll a seven than you lose the point bet. If the shooter rolls the point number before a 7, the bet is worth even money.

Don’t pass, or pass/don’t come is a bet that goes against the roll. You are essentially betting against yourself saying that you will roll a 7 before you roll the other numbers.
